Mumtaz Khan is an emerging athlete of the Indian Hockey Women’s team. She has won the bronze medal in Girls U18 Asia Cup in 2016, silver medal in youth Olympic Games in Bangkok 2018 and U23 Six Nations Invitational Tournament in Belgium 2018. She also won a silver medal in Youth Olympic Games in Argentina 2018 and a gold medal in Test Matches India ‘A’ Women’s Team vs France ‘A’ Women’s team in 2019. She was also named the FIH Women’s Rising Star of the Year 2021-2022 in the women’s category. She was also honoured with Hockey India Asunta Lakra Award for upcoming of the year 2022 (Women under 21). She finished in third place on the list of top scorers in the World Cup.
